The issue of economic integration of the African continent is a particularly difficult challenge. It is important to develop effective integration strategies and tools to deal with powers dominating international trade and to put in place common trade policy instruments.
In this context, the Technical Assistance Facility to the African Union aims to support the African Union's efforts to become a key player in continental economic integration, with a view to reducing gender inequalities.
After a first phase, conducted between 2020 and 2022, Expertise France is continuing its support in the areas of environmental, digital and economic policies.
