In Congo-Brazzaville, Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the Ministry of Health and Population of Congo have mandated Expertise France to implement a hospital management capacity building project of the University Hospital Centre in Brazzaville and 14 general hospitals in the country.

A few years ago, the Congolese Government launched an extensive project to reform its health system. This has resulted in the start of the construction of 14 general hospitals and the objective of building the technical and managerial capacities of health professionals. This objective necessarily required setting up a training programme for hospital managers at the national and subregional levels.

The photo report below retraces the main stages and outcomes of the hospital management capacity building project implemented by Expertise France in partnership with EHESP and AP-HP International.
