Position paper - Samir Aïta - Fragile States in the Middle East and North Africa

5-7 March 2024 in Beirut, the Arab Forum for Sustainable Development (AFSD) will bring together Arab Governments and a broad range of stakeholders to address sustainable development priorities from a regional perspective, discuss progress, review national experiences, and enhance the region’s voice at the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF). It is organized annually by ESCWA, in collaboration with the League of Arab States and other United Nations entities operating in Arab countries.
At this occasion, Samir Aïta, President of the "Cercle des Economistes arabes", shares his thoughts about the notion of "Fragile States in the Middle East and North Africa".
